electronic music

Electronic music is a genre that primarily uses electronic instruments and technology for its production and performance. Originating in the early 20th century, it has since evolved to encompass a wide variety of styles and subgenres, including techno, house, ambient, and dubstep, among others. Artists and producers create electronic music using synthesizers, drum machines, computer software, and other electronic devices, enabling innovative sound manipulation and exploration of new auditory landscapes. Known for its rhythmic beats, synthesized melodies, and often experimental nature, electronic music plays a significant role in modern music culture and is popular in clubs, festivals, and beyond.
