Punk

Originating in the 1970s, “Punk” is a rebellious and influential subculture characterized by its anti-establishment ethos, DIY attitude, and distinctive fashion style. Often marked by ripped clothing, unconventional hairstyles and body piercings, it emerged as a response to social and political unrest. With music playing a central role, notably punk rock, known for its raw energy and confrontational lyrics the movement never really disappeared from the stage. Punk’s legacy extends beyond music to encompass art, fashion, and activism, leaving a lasting impact on popular culture worldwide.
