In the beginning of her career, Natalia Ivanova Mount worked at MoMA PS1 and Clocktower, New York. Later she co-founded FLUX Art Space, New York – a pioneering art organization that commissioned and produced social practice projects, public interventions, and digital art education programs.
Since 2015, she has served as the Executive Director of Pro Arts Gallery, one of the oldest, alternative art spaces in Oakland, California, with beginnings in 1974. In 2019, Natalia began operating the first community commons out of Pro Arts Gallery, and in 2021 launched The Teaching Institute for Art & Law, a project of Pro Arts and the experimental U.S. Congress copyrighted transmedia license for artivists, PPAC.

We are having a casual and fun open studios by our artists in residence! Anna Stallone – visual artist, Barcode People (Qihao Liang and Tong Shu) – creative duo in performance and digital media and Natalia Ivanova Mount – curator, performer, writer and magician.
They would show their working projects. It’s a great gathering that will include food sharing, magic, materialising emotion and many more….Please feel free to join us anytime between 2pm – 8pm!
