What Is FLÓBÉR?

December 12–15, 19:30

An interdisciplinary work blending autobiographical theater, contemporary dance, sound design, and documentary film. FLÓBÉR dives into the complex concepts of colonial love and internalized oppression. The piece will be shown at the Berlin Ringtheater.

“When do we become our own oppressor? When do we oppress others?”

This performance confronts these poignant questions through the lens of two queer, white nonbinary artists—one Portuguese, one American—exploring how cultural contexts shape oppression and familial dynamics.
