New EP release: VELVET TEXTURES by Kiji Suedo
Velvet Textures by Kiji Suedo slips into hiss and haze—where fidelity unravels, and George T’s voice floats like vapor. Nothing settles. Everything moves.
VELVET TEXTURES — an EP that drifts like tape hiss, where memory folds into motion, and nothing ever quite settles. The title track features George T (accident machine), his voice — half-spoken, gently absorbed into the current. Not foregrounded, but drifting like vapor through the mix. Take your time — let the sound pull you in.
RELEASE DETAILS
Kiji Suedo is a musician based in Osaka, Japan. His new EP, Velvet Textures, dwells in the space where fidelity unravels. Seams split. Pitch bends. Clarity slips into velvet. Voices fade. Hiss remains.

New LP: Cruise Control – Satin Jackets via Golden Hour
Set your soul on autopilot — Cruise Control by Satin Jackets is the ultimate feel-good soundtrack for dreamy escapes and sun-drenched moments. 🎶✨
Ready for take off?
With his new album ‘Cruise Control’, Satin Jackets presents a perfect musical soundtrack for relaxed moments that take us away from the stresses of everyday life. The title of the album is meaningful: ‘Cruise Control’ stands for the feeling of switching on the autopilot, leaning back and enjoying the journey to the fullest – an atmosphere that the album unfolds.
The album is a collection of singles that have been released over the last few years and are all interwoven at their core. Because no matter where you listen to the songs, they work, images arise in your head and your feet rarely stay still. Satin Jackets remains true to himself with his album sound, as he repeatedly receives feedback from listeners who appreciate the positive mood in his songs and which always puts them in a good mood.
Featuring David Bay and Small Black
The songs are first created in the producer’s head and then develop together with the features, who add their own touch. For Satin Jackets, ‘the most important thing is this immediate feeling that it fits musically and atmospherically’. This can also come out of nowhere, as was the case with David Bay and Small Black, who got in touch with the producer and it was an instant fit.
‘There are always those magical moments when a song comes out of nowhere. Once I had an idea for a chord sequence that I couldn’t get out of my head, but somehow that certain something was still missing. I then spontaneously asked a bassist friend of mine if he would like to play something to it – ten minutes later we had a hook that carried the whole piece. It’s these unexpected, spontaneous inspirations that make the process so exciting.’
‘Cruise Control’ is more than just another album from Satin Jackets. It is an invitation to enjoy the moment and surrender to the music – a soundtrack that creates a good mood and takes us on a relaxing journey. So just switch on the autopilot again, put on your headphones and let yourself go.

B’Queer: For visibility, diversity, and true inclusion
Queer life isn’t a trend – it’s reality. B’SPOQUE calls for visibility, compassion & true inclusion. Let’s celebrate diversity, loudly & proudly.
Dear readers,
In a world that is constantly changing, one thing remains constant: the unwavering value of humanity, respect, and belonging. In this issue of B’SPOQUE, we want to not only celebrate what has already been achieved, but also make a clear call for more visibility, more compassion, and genuine inclusion, especially for the queer community.
Queer life is not a trend. It is reality – diverse, courageous, creative, vulnerable, and strong at the same time. It is about people whose existence should not be debated, but supported. Especially in times when voices of intolerance seem to be getting louder, it is more important than ever to take a stand. Not only in private, but also publicly, visibly, and loudly.
Inclusion means more than just opening doors – it means designing spaces in such a way that everyone feels welcome. It means not only tolerating diversity, but celebrating it. In fashion, in the media, in everyday life. For us as a magazine, it means telling stories that need to be heard, promoting talents that are often overlooked, and creating platforms that empower.
We firmly believe that style has many faces – and none of them should be excluded. B’SPOQUE stands for personality, for attitude, and for a future in which being different is seen not as an exception but as an enrichment.
Let’s stand together for a world where everyone can be who they are. Without compromise. Without fear. With pride.
With confidence and solidarity,
Alexander Renaldy
Editor-in-Chief, B’SPOQUE MagazineAbout the B’SPOQUE Magazine:
At B’SPOQUE, we believe that true style begins with authenticity – and authenticity thrives in spaces where everyone feels seen, safe, and celebrated. This special edition is a bold statement for visibility, inclusion, and solidarity with the queer community.
More than just fashion, B’SPOQUE is a platform for powerful voices, usually underrepresented stories, and unapologetic self-expression. We explore what it means to belong in a world that too often demands conformity – and we push back by amplifying the beauty of difference.
From interviews with changemakers to features on inclusive design, this issue shines a light on the courage it takes to live openly – and the responsibility we all share to support that collective courage.
B’SPOQUE is not just a magazine. It’s a movement for style with soul, fashion with purpose, and storytelling that matters. Join us as we stand for a future shaped by compassion, creativity, and pride.
Because inclusion is not a trend. It’s the only way forward.

MINT LIST presents the new edition of ROME LIST
Explore ROME LIST by MINT LIST: a curated digital guide to 44 must-see design & architecture spots in Rome—fresh, original, and off the beaten path.
A curated list of must-see architecture and design spots in Rome.
Founded in 2013 by Giulia Milza and Maria Azzurra Rossi, MINT LIST is a PR and communications agency based in Rome, specializing in architecture, design and industry events. It presents the second edition of ROME LIST, an unconventional selection of architecture and design spots in Rome.
Where Architecture Meets Curated Experience
The latest version of the guide will be presented on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025, from 6:30 PM at Micro (Via Tor De’ Conti, 21, Rome), a shop featuring illustrated prints, stationery, and design posters, as well as a pop-up space dedicated to creativity, in the heart of the Monti district, just steps from the Roman Forum.
ROME LIST, created to celebrate MINT LIST’s over-a-decade-long experience in the field, reveals the city’s contemporary richness and its growing influence in the design scene, offering a fresh, authentic, and original perspective:
“We aimed to include not only the newest venues but also hidden gems with significant historical value, which are often lesser known.”
— explains Maria Azzurra Rossi, co-founder of MINT LIST.The duo witnessed the rise of a local network of design-related businesses through their work in communications, and chose to establish their operational base here:
44 Handpicked Spots to Marvel, Relax, Learn & Explore
“In 2016, Rome was an extremely fertile ground because our type of profession didn’t exist yet. We decided to bet on the city, thinking it would be a blank page—an opportunity to write together the story of contemporary Rome.”
— shares Giulia Milza, co-founder of MINT LIST.MINT LIST highlights the importance of networking and creating a comprehensive map of design and architecture sites in the capital. Offering alternative routes to the more traditional circuits, ROME LIST features 44 locations, including several new additions, divided into six categories: Relax, Marvel, Explore, Learn, Shop, and Taste.
Rome Beyond the Monuments—Discover the Unexpected
A new section includes a map linked to Google Maps, allowing easy access to galleries, ateliers, architectural sites, hotels, and restaurants selected based on the value of the project, architectural significance, and stories connected to the designers or owners. This new feature enhances the project’s exploratory potential, making ROME LIST a resource designed not only for architects and designers but also for tourists, locals, enthusiasts, and simply curious minds.
Rhizome, SantoPalato, Fondazione D’ARC, OFFTAMAT, and the Palazzo Talìa are just a few of the new additions in the 2025 edition, joining others such as Dylan Tripp’s studio, La Rinascente in Piazza Fiume, Spazio Mala, and The Dome LUISS Guido Carli.
Rome continues its evolution, becoming a significant influence on how professionals and businesses perceive it as an increasingly dynamic and diverse environment. The city is transforming into a magnetic hub for new initiatives, weaving a network of connections that gradually form a new fabric. Acting as a local creative engine, it significantly contributes to the capital’s growing presence.
ROME LIST is much more than a just selection: it acts as an ambassador of awareness and promotion of architectural culture, encouraging greater attention to projects distinguished by the quality of their design, aligning with the agency’s broader vision of supporting the transformative power of design
MINT LIST illustrates the city’s current state, moving in parallel with the involved entities and weaving the threads of its narrative. The ever-evolving project aims to shape the visual landscape of Rome, allowing the community to learn about and experience the urban space from a fresh and original perspective.
Connecting People, Places, and Projects Through Design
With texts curated by David Plaisant, Monocle’s correspondent in Rome, the list is available exclusively online on the MINT LIST website in a digital format, with annual updates.
ROME LIST was created thanks to the collaboration of Omar Golli, who contributed some exclusive shots, along with several notable photographers, including Paolo Abate, John Athimaritis, Alberto Blasetti, Marco Cappelletti, Jérôme Galland, Giulio Ghirardi, Eller Studio, Manon Houston, Massimiliano Tuveri, Nikolas Koenig, Max Littera, Ilaria Magliocchetti Lombi, Alessandro Saletta, and Agnese Bedini (DSL Studio).

Italo Brutalo – Second Horizon LP (out now)
Italo Brutalo’s Second Horizon is a synth odyssey—acid, Italo, vocoder, 80s drum lines & cinematic soundscapes. A true modern classic.
Kicking off with City Sight, every synth is a joy. Warm tones, clear, crisp symbols and snares. A beautiful melody intertwined with acid tweaks and dreamy vocoder vocals, sounding almost more keys than voice. And that 80s drum machine line. There are five different decades where this modern classic would feel right at home.
A Synth-Driven Odyssey Across Time, Genre, and Imagination
You want it darker? Here comes Memory Sync, bursting through your loading screen like an end of level baddy. Press ‘play’ and you will know exactly what I mean. The hi hat and kick drum pattern on Digital Freedom is to die for, the acid bass and Italo disco melody giving your day an instant serotonin boost.
Surveillance State kicks the tempo up more than a notch, this eerie 3-D soundscape literally makes you feel as though you are being watched by a Machiavellian force. You can literally feel the paranoia oozing from your speakers. Technology is like a souped-up Kraftwerk 33 played on 45. Close your eyes and imagine stop-frame footage of robots in a car factory. Just brilliant. Heiss Oder Kalt (Hot Or Cold) is a perfect title for this lush mix of warm and cool synths, with a vocal sample reminiscent of a mad scientist.
From Acid Lines to Robotic Dreams — A Masterclass in Modern Italo Sound
Chasing Shadows, The first single to be released from Second Horizon, is just damn well exciting. It’s like you’re driving K.I.T.T. on turbo boost, in pursuit of the Midnight Express. Strap yourself in as Italo Brutalo hits the TB-303 button on the console for an acid fuel injection. Just when you thought it couldn’t get better, the joyous robotic vocal kicks in. I dare you to try and stay still whilst Chasing Shadows plays. It’s impossible.
Free To Move takes the tempo down a notch, robotic melodies dancing with each other in beautiful synchronicity, giving life to a beautiful android, leading perfectly into Black Gold, a soundscape rich enough to deserve to grace a Hollywood masterpiece.
Human Code is a perfect companion piece to City Sight. Drop this one in a club and see the reaction. Pure bliss. Then comes dark and sleazy low tempo I am a creator pulls you into the thought process of Italo Brutalo, before Tonight finishes this perfect long player off to a joyous, satisfying conclusion.
Musical visionaries often find it difficult to write that difficult second album. With Second Horizon, Italo Brutalo has brought you an original masterpiece. Enjoy.

Dina Summer – Girls Gang Remixes Vol. 2 via Iptamenos Discos
Dina Summer drop a powerful remix pack for Girls Gang with Boys’ Shorts, Karassimeon, Moderna & more—dark disco, new wave & indie anthems reimagined.
Berlin-based synth-wave band Dina Summer released their highly anticipated second album ‘Girls Gang’ earlier this year via Iptamenos Discos. The super band which is formed by Kalipo (also known for his work with electro-punk band Frittenbude) and dark disco DJ/producer duo Local Suicide first made waves in the scene with their 2021 EP ‘Who Am I‘ before releasing their critically acclaimed 2022 debut album ‘Rimini‘ and 2024 EP ‘Hide & Seek’.
They also contributed to Curses’ ‘Next Wave Acid Punx‘ compilation, participated in Purple Mag x radiooooo’s ‘2070’ project, and performed at Reeperbahn Festival’s prestigious ‘Collide Session’.
With millions of streams and worldwide radio airplay, Dina Summer’s music has earned spots on numerous Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists and has been supported by DJs like Charlotte De Witte, 2ManyDJs, Vitalic, The Hacker, Âme, Dixon & DJ Hell. Their releases have been praised by major publications such as DJ Mag, Mixmag, Groove, Resident Advisor, Spiegel Online, Musikexpress, Rolling Stone, Tsugi, ELLE, Penthouse and FAZE among others, while their singles got played over 10.000 times by worldwide radios.
Reimagined by Friends
The new album is a versatile collection of 11 tracks. They delve into themes such as empowerment and outsiderhood. The album also explores impermanence, nostalgia, and relationships. While their debut album was characterized by its club-centric sound, drawing from italo disco and ’90s electro influences, this new release explores a richer palette of new wave, post punk, and synth pop.
The sophomore longplayer is more song-oriented. It often features real bass and guitar. It showcases a more vocal-driven performance from frontwoman Dina. She incorporates more singing alongside her trademark spoken words. Yet, it retains the same catchy melodies Dina Summer is known for, offering both indie pop hymns and a few undeniable club anthems.
After recently releasing a bunch of remixes by DJ Hell, Damon Jee, Phunkadelica & The Populists, the trio is now back with even more reworks by befriended artists Karassimeon, Boys’ Shorts, Karla Lynch, Moderna, The World Domination, and Etane!Karassimeon transforms Zombie into a haunting disco ballad.
The upcoming Paris-based live performer, producer, and DJ Karassimeon takes on ‘Zombie’ and delivers a beautiful dark disco ballad that blends haunting disco melodies with EBM beats, transforming the track into a dancefloor anthem.
Boys’ Shorts bring emotional depth to Promise Me.
Boys’ Shorts are a queer DJ/producer duo from Greece who were recently named one of the top 5 acts to watch globally by The New York Times. Their remix of ‘Promise Me’ featuring the ghostly vocals of New Yorker/Berlin-based renowned artist Curses, channels the emotional depth of losing someone you love into a bass-driven, club-ready anthem. Anchored by a pulsating rhythm, the track features the hypnotic refrain “Promise me, please don’t miss me, when I’m gone.” It fuses lyrical vulnerability with undeniable dancefloor momentum.
Moderna delivers cinematic power on Nothing To Hide.
Berlin-based artist and Brave New Rave label founder Moderna – also known for her former radio show of the same name and acclaimed productions including a remix for The Matrix soundtrack – delivers a stunning rework of Dina Summer’s dark wave anthem “Nothing To Hide”. She opens with a cinematic, orchestral atmosphere that builds tension and drama before erupting into full dance floor power.
Etane fuses Italo with techno on Hypnotized.
Cologne-based musician Etane, known for his unique genre blend and deep involvement in the music community, reinterprets ‘Hypnotized’ by merging 80s Italo disco aesthetics with a driving techno bassline. He pairs a dreamy atmosphere with a luminous sense of motion, guiding listeners toward a glowing horizon. Echoing the song’s core theme, the spell of hypnotization is carried by airy, string-like melodies and a steady, magnetic groove.
Karla Lynch reinterprets Hypnotized for the dark rave floor.
French DJ & producer and Elektric Bazaar co-founder Karla Lynch delivered a banging re-interpretation of ‘Hypnotized‘ for dark raves with its hypnotic repetitive rhythms, heavy basslines and minimalistic Berlin-style vocals. The remix draws out themes of desire, seduction, and loss of control, giving the song a deeper, more immersive intensity.
The World Domination injects 90s techno energy into No More Tears.
The World Domination is German electroclash & techno-pop project, which rose in the underground scene in the early 2000s with releases on Kitsuné and Metropol Division. Their remix of ’No More Tears’ channels a 90s techno spirit, alternating machine-like effects and a strong, pulsating bass with bright, house-infused keys. Its driving rhythm and the hypnotic repetition of the title create a compelling call to release past vulnerabilities, embrace inner strength, and step fully into self-empowerment. Pre-Save here

The Interlaken Tapes Return with Hypnotic New Album
Kraut meets Cloud: With their second mini album, simply titled “2”, The Interlaken Tapes dive deeper into the hypnotic pulse of German experimental music.
Murmured vocals, dusty rhythms, synths that shimmer like rain on concrete—this is for fans of Neu!, Locust Fudge, My Bloody Valentine, International Music, Curtis Mayfield, and the late-night ghosts of Joy Division.
The mini album “2” is the second release by The Interlaken Tapes from the Ruhrgebiet, Germany. It follows the eponymous debut EP from 2024. This EP garnered attention within the music scene. Its distinctive postpunk monotony featured a wide spectrum of electronic sounds and springy grooves. „2“ expands from there more into Krautrock and Shoegaze genres.
The Interlaken Tapes succeed again in wresting colour from the principle of simplicity and monotony by inviting the listener to indulge in free association while listening to the mostly murmured German and English lyrics. Or to put it more simple: imagine if Joy Division hadn’t discovered the sequencer on their own, but teamed up directly with the rhythm experts from Can and Neu!.
If this fusion sounds interesting, we encourage you to explore the release. For the track “Bordeaux and Orange“, which is also the first single, The Interlakes Tapes collaborate with a long term musical hero: Christopher “Krite” Uhe (Speedniggs, Locust Fudge, Sharon Stoned) as guest vocalist. This may be the first release where Christopher sings in German!
Out: 13 Jun 2025
On: Platiruma
Via: Silent ShoutArtist: The Interlaken Tapes
Release: 2
Label: Platiruma
Release Date: June 13, 2025The EP “2” will be released on CD and digitally on June the 13th and soon thereafter together with their first self titled EP also on vinyl.
About:
THE INTERLAKEN TAPES is the project of the bedroom producer Gorden Spangardt (Ex-Kirmes), who also regularly releases leftfield electronica under the moniker “GRDN.”. He recorded the EP on his own in his garden shed on the green outskirts of the Ruhrgebiet. For live performances, Gorden is joined by Björn Schmidt. Björn is known for his work with Zenq, laer, and Ex-Wellensittichsalat. Matthias Glass also joins him. Matthias previously performed with Ex-Daily Thompson, Ex-Jag Electric, and Ex-Voodoo Pulp Experience.

Ken Aïcha Sy. Survival Kit – Between Us and History
Familiäre Archive & kollektives Erbe: Die Ausstellung „The Hidden Archive“ zeigt ab 20.6. in Berlin zentrale Werke senegalesischer Malerei 1960–1990.
The Hidden Archive
Berlin – Stuttgart
Die Ausstellung Survival Kit – Between Us and History: The Hidden Archive wird in beiden ifa-Galerien gezeigt – zuerst in Berlin, dann in Stuttgart.
