Roam projects: Love, heat, sweat, tears

,

Love, heat, sweat, tears is an exhibition collaboration of roam projects in Berlin, WÖNZIMER in LA and LAVA from Mexico City within the visual arts festival B-LA-M, which is held over three years in these three vibrant cities, starting with Berlin.

Opening: Love, heat, sweat, tears

Save the date:
29.6.2024, 7-9 pm

It is the first of three exhibitions dedicated to the amplitudes of human emotion. Everything between passion, fear, and lust will find its expression through the extraordinary selection of international artists and offer the audience an honest and intense impulse to enjoy and reflect.

The starting point of this journey will take place at roam projects in Berlin-Kreuzberg, a nonprofit organization focusing on the art and cultural exchange between the eastern parts of Europe and Germany. As an official partner of the European Capital of Culture Tartu/ South Estonia 2024, the selected artists have been a part of the long-term residency and exchange program between Berlin and Estonia and, therefore have their roots in the latter.

Wönzimer Gallery explores the international exchange with emotional works from their diverse roaster of Los Angeles and Lava from Mexico City based artists to discover the connections and dissonance that exist between these worlds of art. With selected work that touches upon the rollercoaster of modern life as well as the calm moments in between.
