in Support of Bread Deliveries for Ukrainians Under Shelling

On September 21 at Studio DB in Berlin, the charity project Let’s Help in partnership with the gallery All Rights Reversed will host an event in support of Ukrainian civilians. The goal of the initiative is to raise funds to cover bread delivery for 485 people in three frontline villages in Donetsk region.

Grocery stores in these villages have been destroyed by shelling, and humanitarian aid almost never arrives because travel there is too dangerous. Together with Ukrainian partners, Let’s Help delivers two loaves of fresh bread to local residents every week.

About:

MAKE LOAF, NOT WAR will feature an exhibition of artworks reflecting on the themes of bread and war. Among the artists are Nika Nikulshina (Pussy Riot), Anatoly Osmolovsky, Liza Pushkina, Yana Tark, Igor Ost, Liza Mur, and Mikhail Ray. All works will be available for purchase. Even those who cannot attend in person will have the opportunity to buy pieces online via an eBay auction.

In the evening, Studio DB will transform into a club. Starting at 19:00, performances will feature artists turmanuma, B.bby, xfira, and Franeva. Expect a sonic journey through a variety of genres — from avant-pop and trip-hop live sessions to trance and techno soundscapes.
