LeSportsac and Roberto Cavalli unite for the first time to present a bold new collaboration. The Spring 2025 collection seamlessly blends the durable, lightweight materials of LeSportsac with the wild glamour and unapologetic style of Roberto Cavalli.
A Personal Connection to the Collaboration
For Roberto Cavalli’s creative director, Fausto Puglisi, the collaboration with LeSportsac carries a personal significance. Growing up in Messina, Sicily, he admired designer bags at a store coincidentally named Puglisi. One of his most stylish schoolteachers carried a LeSportsac bag daily, making a lasting impression. Inspired by these early memories, Puglisi, alongside LeSportsac creative director Luca Schmitz, aimed to reimagine nostalgic handbag designs for today’s fashion-forward customers.
Designed for the Modern Lifestyle
“When I connected with LeSportsac, I wanted to use the collaboration as a way to think about a Cavalli way to carry something on the subway in New York, to Coachella, or to Burning Man,” says Puglisi. “Ultimately, we created something democratic, easy, and young.”
Spring 2025 marks the first of four planned collaborative collections. The debut features four distinct groups, all inspired by Roberto Cavalli’s signature aesthetics and available in both classic and updated LeSportsac shapes.

Mini Zebra
A timeless Roberto Cavalli signature, Mini Zebra brings untamed, fierce energy to everyday accessories.
Freedom Rum
Fausto Puglisi’s Freedom print takes inspiration from tiger stripes and the intricate history of Japanese etchings, reinterpreted in earthy desert tones.
Matelassé
Rooted in Italian craftsmanship, this textured sewing technique blends sophistication with Roberto Cavalli’s iconic animal prints.
Puffy
Available in Mini Zebra, Freedom Rum, and an all-black Nero, the Puffy bags embody effortless modernity for customers on the go.
Crafted for Style and Functionality
Each design benefits from LeSportsac’s signature lightweight yet durable materials. Thoughtful details elevate the collection, from precisely placed prints ensuring unique variations to premium non-puckering zippers for a seamless user experience. Dual zipper pulls—one from LeSportsac and the other from Roberto Cavalli—symbolize the seamless partnership. Each bag comes in a limited-edition dust bag, underscoring its exclusivity.

“This is not just a one-off—this is a true collaboration where two brands tell their stories in a well-crafted, thoughtful way,” says Schmitz. “What impressed me about working with Fausto specifically was his ability to translate Cavalli’s DNA for a younger audience. As 2024 marked our 50th anniversary, I can think of no better foundation than this collaboration to carry LeSportsac into the future.”
