LANGE NACHT DER MUSEEN & FRESH A.I.R.

Es ist wieder so weit: die LANGE NACHT DER MUSEEN steht vor der Tür! Am 26. August können mit nur einem Ticket ganze 75 Museen in Berlin besucht werden. Auch das URBAN NATION Museum ist wieder dabei und lädt mit verschiedenen thematischen Führungen ein, die Werke der aktuellen Ausstellung TALKING… & OTHER BANANA SKINS kennenzulernen und weiter in die Welt der Urban Art einzutauchen. Dazu gibt es den ganzen Abend Hip-Hop Musik von DEJOE!

Wer einmal hinter die Kulissen blicken möchte, kann an diesem Abend alle aktuellen Stipendiatinnen und Stipendiaten des Fresh A.I.R.-Residenzprogramms beim OPEN HOUSE kennenlernen. Sie öffnen ihre Studios über dem Museum für Besucherinnen und Besucher und gewähren Einblick in ihre Arbeit.

STORIES OF BERLIN 

Im UN Projektraum eröffnet zur LANGEN NACHT DER MUSEEN die Sonderausstellung STORIES OF BERLIN. Sie bringt anlässlich des fünften Jubiläums des Fresh A.I.R.-Programms die videokünstlerischen Arbeiten von drei ehemaligen Stipendiaten zusammen.

Save the Date: Am 13. September eröffnet die URBAN NATION Satellite Gallery auf der Sonnenallee mit einer interaktiven Ausstellung des Künstlers RABI. Kommt vorbei und feiert mit uns die Eröffnung dieses temporären Ausstellungsortes mit Project M/20_generati0n+escape_//_thoughts_and_c0ntradicti0ns_//_seas0n_01:02_BERLIN, kuratiert von Michelle Houston.

It is time again: the LONG NIGHT OF MUSEUMS is just around the corner! On 26 August, you can visit 75 museums in Berlin with just one ticket. The URBAN NATION Museum is also participating again and invites you on different thematic tours to get to know the works of the current exhibition TALKING… & OTHER BANANA SKINS and to dive further into the world of Urban Art. All evening long, there will be hip-hop music by DEJOE! 

For those who would like to take a look behind the scenes, all current fellows of the Fresh A.I.R. residency program can be met at the OPEN HOUSE that evening. They will open their studios above the museum to visitors and provide insight into their work.

STORIES OF BERLIN 

During the LONG NIGHT OF MUSEUMS, the temporary exhibition STORIES OF BERLIN will open at the UN Project Space. To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Fresh A.I.R. program, it brings together the video-artistic works of three former fellows.
