1–2 minutes

Following the acclaimed release of Franz Scala’s sophomore album ‘Cafe Futuro,’ Voodoos And Taboos, Marta Paradise, and fellow Slow Motion label head Fabrizio Mammarella lend their unique interpretations to three distinctive tracks from the record.

Fabrizio Mammarella, renowned for his infectious, pioneering sound, infuses ‘Telephone Boy’ with electrifying energy. His remix is driven by unmistakable acid lines, signature rhythmic control and vibrant melodies that intertwine seamlessly with Scala’s original artistry, resulting in a rework that maintains the track’s essence while pushing it into new territory.

Voodoos And Taboos step in with a sophisticated, brooding and Chicago-inspired flip of ‘Crush Test’ featuring Leona Jacewska. The vocals from the original float gracefully above crisp hi-hats and dissonant stabs, creating hypnotic intrigue throughout this captivating remix.

Closing the EP, Italo aficionados Marta Paradise deliver a thunderous rework of ‘Saxon Rebel’ feat. Local Suicide, expanding on the original’s genealogy with innovative flair. The percussion is sharpened for maximum impact, while pulsating basslines and shimmering synths propel the track forward, ensuring the trio of remixes close on a high-energy, adventurous note.
