Die Duo-Ausstellung von Johannes Büttner und Catherina Cramer – der ersten Ausstellung im Jahresprogramm DISSOLUTIONS – ist noch bis 10. Mai im Kunst Raum Mitte, täglich von 10 bis 18 Uhr, zu sehen. Am 10. April wird Sabine Bremer zusammen mit Catherina Cramer den Soundtrack zum gemeinsamen Film Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night live spielen. Davor gibt es die Gelegenheit, an einem Rundgang durch die Ausstellung mit Catherina Cramer und Co-Kuratorin Agnieszka Roguski teilzunehmen.

Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night von Catherina Cramer und Sabine Bremer

Der Soundtrack zu Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good, einem gemeinsamen Film von Catherina Cramer und Sabine Bremer, wird am 10. April von Bremer live in Cramers Installation Indexical im Kunst Raum Mitte gespielt. Im Konzert verwandelt Sabine Bremer ihr Studioequipment in echte Instrumente und nutzt sie roh, unmittelbar und lebendig in ihrer Live-Performance.

An der Schnittstelle von klassischer Violinenmusik, spielerischem Jazz und elektronischen Sounds entstehen collageartige Strukturen. Gebrochene Rhythmen, psychedelische Patterns und perkussive Elemente treffen aufeinander, verschmelzen und erzeugen einen direkten, unvorhersehbaren Klang.Davor führen Catherina Cramer und Co-Kuratorin Agnieszka Roguski gemeinsam durch die Ausstellung. Die Führung findet auf Deutsch statt.

Im Mittelpunkt des Jahresprogramms DISSOLUTIONS stehen Vorgänge, die sonst als Ende, Abgang oder Nachleben in Erscheinung treten. Formen des Verfalls werden zu fantasievollen Imaginationen, über die Kritik an gegenwärtigen Zuständen und Kategorien laut werden kann.

Im Kunst Raum Mitte werden 2026 damit Prognosen und Visionen in eine bereits vergangene Zukunft überführt – und der Raum damit als eine Ruine verstanden, in der sich die Fiktionen unterschiedlicher Künstler*innen manifestieren. Seit Februar ist die Ausstellung von Johannes Büttner und Catherina Cramer zu sehen. In ihr werden die vermeintlich festen Konstruktionen von Körper und Staat in Frage gestellt – über raumgreifende Installationen, die die Grenzen zwischen gesund und krank, freiheitlich und autoritär ins Wanken bringen.

The duo exhibition by Johannes Büttner and Catherina Cramer—which also marks the start of the annual program DISSOLUTIONS—is on view daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Kunst Raum Mitte through May 10. On April 10, Sabine Bremer will perform the soundtrack to their collaborative film Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night live alongside Catherina Cramer. Prior to the performance, visitors will have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the exhibition with Catherina Cramer and co-curator Agnieszka Roguski.

The soundtrack to Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good, a collaborative film by Catherina Cramer and Sabine Bremer, will be played live by Bremer on April 10 in Cramer’s installation Indexical at Kunst Raum Mitte. During the concert, Sabine Bremer transforms her studio equipment into real instruments and incorporates them into her raw and immediate live performance.

At the intersection of classical violin music, playful jazz, and electronic sounds, collage-like structures emerge. Broken rhythms, psychedelic patterns, and percussive elements collide, merge, and create a direct, unpredictable sound.Before the concert, Catherina Cramer and co-curator Agnieszka Roguski will lead visitors on a tour of the exhibition, opening up the space for a shared conversation. The tour will take place in German.

The annual program DISSOLUTIONS focuses on processes that are otherwise perceived as endings, departures, or afterlives. Forms of decay become imaginative visions through which criticism of current conditions and categories can be voiced. At Kunst Raum Mitte in 2026, predictions and visions are thus transported into a future that has already passed—and the space is thereby understood as a ruin in which the fictions of various artists manifest themselves.

The exhibition by Johannes Büttner and Catherina Cramer has been on view since February. It challenges the supposedly fixed constructs of the body and the state—through expansive installations that blur the boundaries between healthy and sick, liberal and authoritarian.
