Set in the forests of Dzūkija in southern Lithuania, Yaga Gathering returns on July 16–20, 2026, inviting people into a five-day experience where electronic music, contemporary art, performance, and community unfold as one living ecosystem.

Founded in 2003, Yaga has evolved from a small circle of friends into an international gathering shaped by participation, co-creation, and long-term community bonds. While often described as a music festival, Yaga has always existed beyond a single definition. Music lays the foundation, but the experience extends far beyond the dancefloor.

Wholesome by day, hedonistic by night, Yaga takes on different forms throughout the day. Mornings begin with workshops, lectures, crafts, movement practices, and conversations. Afternoons drift through installations, performances, open-air cinema, and unexpected encounters. At night, the landscape transforms as sound, light, and collective energy take over.
2026 Edition
For its 2026 edition, Yaga introduces Mycelium Institute, this year’s thematic framework inspired by invisible systems of connection. Drawing from underground mycelial networks that connect and sustain ecosystems, the concept explores the unseen relationships that shape our lives: between people, communities, environments, and the worlds we inhabit.
Rather than offering fixed interpretations, the Mycelium Institute invites participants to notice the networks surrounding them. The theme unfolds throughout the gathering – through sound, art, architecture, performances, and shared experiences embedded across the landscape.

Contemporary art remains an important part of Yaga’s identity. Installations and performances by emerging and internationally recognised artists are woven throughout the site, turning the forest itself into an evolving exhibition space. Rather than separating stages, galleries, and gathering areas, Yaga blurs these boundaries, allowing art and environment to continuously interact.
Yaga’s Programme

The programme reflects Yaga’s growing international reach. Alongside a carefully curated selection of artists and collaborators from across different countries and creative scenes, this year expands beyond Lithuania through initiatives including collaborations in Latvia, a community journey to witness the Total Solar Eclipse in Spain, and a new initiative offering a limited number of free tickets for visitors from Finland. Together, these projects continue strengthening connections across borders and building creative networks that extend beyond the gathering itself.
