VL4NC is the project of Fernando Larlz, a multi-instrumentalist born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, exploring the edges of dark wave, cold wave, post-punk, dark folk, industrial and dark electronic music, with subtle echoes of 80s pop. Influenced by The Cure, Coil and Death in June, his sound seeps in like a crack: persistent, inevitable and deep.

At the end of March 2026, VL4NC releases his debut album Industria del Luto. The album is composed of 10 tracks. Repetition, loss, and a certain uneasy beauty coexist in constant tension. Through dense sonic layers, industrial textures and minimalist structures, the album builds an emotional landscape that moves between the intimate and the abrasive.

The album is conceived as a complete listening experience. Industria del Luto reveals its nuances gradually. “Zona liminar”, the opening track, introduces a melancholic pulse with pop undertones. It is shaped by a post-punk and dark wave sensibility. This same aesthetic can also be heard in “Elástico”, reinforcing the balance between melody and darkness.

In contrast, tracks such as “Tribofobia” and “Confesión sintética” dive into a darker and more direct territory. Meanwhile, pieces like “Alguien Alien”, “Delirium Tremens” and “Was ist Das” navigate through industrial and experimental soundscapes. Finally, tracks like “Polvareda” introduce a more organic, dark folk texture.

Industria del Luto is not just a debut, but an aesthetic statement: an exploration of darkness not as a pose, but as a language.

About VL4NC

VL4NC is the creative project of Argentinian multi-instrumentalist Fernando Larlz. He explores the darker intersections of sound and emotion. His music blends dark wave, cold wave, post-punk, industrial, dark folk, and experimental electronic music.

Rooted in Buenos Aires, VL4NC builds a sonic identity shaped by repetition, tension, and atmosphere. Influences ranging from The Cure, Coil, and Death in June echo subtly through the project, but are transformed into something more personal and immersive—where melody and distortion coexist in constant friction.

Rather than treating darkness as an aesthetic, VL4NC uses it as a language. His compositions often move between minimal structures and dense sonic layers, creating an emotional space that feels both intimate and unsettling. From melancholic, pop-tinged passages to abrasive industrial textures, the project resists easy categorization.

With the debut album Industria del Luto, VL4NC establishes a clear artistic statement: a carefully constructed journey through loss, repetition, and uneasy beauty.
