With Sugar, Jomoon releases her debut album on January 30, 2026 via the Leipzig-based label NOISEBERRY. The independent producer from Rome places her sound between UK garage, experimental electronic and IDM — stripped down, physical, and deliberately tension-driven.
In late 2025, Jomoon offered the first glimpses of Sugar through two striking singles. Her debut track “Confession” introduced listeners to a warm, mysterious, and emotional sonic world – a unique blend of electronica and atmospheric layers that marked the emergence of her very own musical language.

This was followed by “Human Rituals,” a second single that combines refined, edgy elements with driving rhythms. Its atmosphere shifts between mystical tension and euphoric release, establishing the track as a standout highlight of the album’s repertoire. Together, these singles merge groove and emotion, encapsulating Jomoon’s intent to craft an immersive listening experience.
Pace, spatial depth and control
The album itself is introduced by its lead track “Fields,” which functions as a focused entry point rather than a summary, establishing pace, spatial depth and control while deliberately withholding resolution. This deliberate restraint heightens the impact of Sugar’s eventual peaks and reveals Jomoon’s command over tension and release across the record.
As a debut, Sugar is not an introduction but a declaration. Jomoon defines her artistic position with clarity and intent, merging groove and emotion into a single, focused language. Every track contributes to this cohesive statement, from the incisive rhythms to the haunting melodic textures that linger long after the music stops. Jomoon’s first full-length effort thus solidifies her unique voice in the electronic landscape, confidently heralding the arrival of a new creative force.
