Made From Shadows “Forever Calling” is the follow up to the highly touted track with Mount Sims “History Is Not Shrinking” which sat on Beatport’s Indie Dance chart for 5 weeks. This time around MFS founder Sean Patrick, takes on the role of vocalist. The original harkens back to an early 2000s sound with warm melodic synth lines layered over a danceable midtempo groove.

MADE FROM SHADOW (previously BYSTANDER) has deejayed with Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers, Thom Yorke, Massive Attack, Hot Chip, Bjork, LCD Soundsystem, Tiga, Carl Craig, Moderat, Damian Lazarus, DJ Tennis, Royksopp, Fischerspooner, 808 State, Art Department, Stacey Pullen, Felix Da Housecat, Recondite, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, Cut Copy, Seth Troxler, Kim Ann Foxman, M.A.N.D.Y., Soul Clap, 2manydjs, Matthew Dear, Trentemoller, Sasha, Mano Le Tough, Kevin Saunderson, Moderna… the list goes on and on.

He produces original songs & remixes that find their way onto dance floors all over the world. His work includes remixes for The Beastie Boys, She Wants Revenge, Blakkat, The Sea Atlas, Kill Hannah, The Greenskeepers, Reverse Commuter, Fanatico X, Eric Sharp, Starya and The Virgin Tears. He has teamed up to work with an array of other artists. Together, they create MFS’ unique dark sound. His collaborators include longtime friends like Ken Gibson of Adjunct Audio, Jeremy Dawson of Shiny Toy Guns/Mirror Machines, Eric Sharp, Kinsey Dulcet, Give In, Mark Bell, Mount Sims & Linda Lamb (Vitalic).

Both of the remixes on this EP kick up the tempo with a more direct club ready feel to them. Creating a big energy-filled vibe, both are sure to keep the dancefloor going with a thumping electro/house feel.

Dark Wave Textures Meet Dancefloor Grooves

Eric Sharp combines a conscientious mindset with unshakable musical passion. Through his multifaceted career, Sharp has become one of the most accomplished tastemakers on the West Coast. Lady Sinclair is a Los Angeles-based DJ, producer and owner of the label “Friends of Neon” As a producer her love for music began with West Coast warehouse parties in the underground rave scene. As a resident of Insomniac, she has played a key supporting role on shows with artists like Armand Van Helden. She has also supported Duke Dumont, Sam Divine, Claptone, Oliver Heldons, and Dombresky.
