If you would like to know what a successful mixture of the Parisian Marais and Berlin’s centre would look like, you should take a little detour from your shopping trip into ‘April First’. You can feel the charm of its owner, as soon as you enter the Auguststraße boutique. In a carefully selected manner, cool fashions meet a stylish interior, brown marble on brass and palm wallpaper against a backdrop of scented cosmetics. Alongside national and international labels such as See by Chloe, Love Stories, Mother Denim, Equipment and Ulla Johnson, women will also find that the 60 m2 boutique is also home to limited edition items of jewellry and accessories. The proprietor, Carolin Dunkel, selects all the labels personally and still advises her customers herself.

Additional to the wide range of bohemian accessories and other stylish clothing or existing home design, is Dunkels lately launched collection of her home furniture. You can order the poofs online, if you like… △

B'SPOQE, the aspirational avant-garde, vanity and zeitgeist magazine, was founded in 2016 by Alexander Renaldy and Karl Jürgen Zeller. Since March in 2019, the magazine is an independent publication, featuring a wide range of topics, such as artists and their art, design, politics, fashion and social matters: "Our goal is to simply do something and leave our mark, to make the world a better place or change something, which is important in this time of political instability" - Alexandre Renaldy
