Rund 35 Prozent der fast 1000 Werke von 300 Künstler*innen sind online auf unserer Website sowie an den Sammlungsstandorten in Düsseldorf und Berlin zugänglich. Nach der Eröffnung des Research Room in Düsseldorf im Jahr 2021 haben registrierte Besucher:innen in Berlin nun Zugang zu den gesamten Beständen der Sammlung, einschließlich der Werke, die derzeit nicht öffentlich ausgestellt sind.

Geöffnet von Montag bis Freitag, 11 bis 18 Uhr (nur nach vorheriger Terminvereinbarung, mindestens eine Woche im Voraus). Um sich anzumelden, senden Sie bitte eine E-Mail an research@jsfoundation.art mit den folgenden Informationen:

– Eine kurze Beschreibung Ihres Forschungsprojekts und des Zwecks Ihres Besuchs

JSF RESEARCH ROOM – OPENING IN BERLIN

The JSF Research Room offers visitors access to the entire Julia Stoschek Collection, one of the world’s most comprehensive private collections of time-based art, as well as an extensive library for in-depth research.

The collection spans from works of the 1960s, featuring artists such as Bruce Nauman, Carolee Schneemann, Jack Smith, and VALIE EXPORT, to contemporary pieces by Arthur Jafa, Anne Imhof, and Kandis Williams. The reference library offers key publications on collection artists as well as art-theoretical texts on philosophy and aesthetics.

Around thirty-five percent of the nearly 1,000 works by 300 artists are accessible online on our website and at the collection locations in Düsseldorf and Berlin. After inaugurating the Research Room in Düsseldorf in 2021, registered visitors in Berlin can now access the complete holdings of the collection, including works not currently on public display.

Open Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (by appointment only, at least one week in advance). To register, please email research.berlin@jsfoundation.art and provide the following information:
